Question I need your opinion

I finished this game on the light side, I enjoyed it like no other cuz of the amazing graphics but I went straight for the main quest without completing the others so I m about to play it again as a scumbag.
I need to know what charracter class is better to pick to fully maximise your player potential (no blaster skills only melee).
because I already know what feats other party members are gonna have I m not sure if I should choose the soldier or the scout to really explore the game in-depth and have the most fun this time.
I don t know about you, but I think it s not open ended enough to play it a third time!!!!

If 'every aspect of the game' includes skills, then go ahead and choose scout. Otherwise you may as well pick soldier. Other than the difference in skill points, scouts have higher saving throws than soldiers, and then a slightly lower BAB and two points less VP per level.

actually, if you want to do everything, then skillwise the best char would be scoundrel6 or 7 before going jedi. Lots of skills that way. But the scout has a lot of skills too so whatever you prefer. Do note that scoundrels recieve bonus defense for scoundrels luck, and their sneak attack with a critical strike combination will allow you to stand toe to toe with malak and kill him without the use of items, certainly without weasly hit-and-run tactics.
So, because all classes really have the same damage potential, the sacrifice of vp when being a scoundrel is not that important, and will be countered if you go guardian.
Im just saying the above to maximize skills, which I didnt think that important. Too bad I missed out on repairing HK tough, though that alone isnt nearly important so as to affect your char decision.
A scout however is definately the best choice IMO. In terms of story enjoyment, soldiers suck because your skills just aren't enough to keep persuade high. A high persuade is essential to maximize game experience, as it will open all quests and dialogue options without need of force persuade. Also MUCH easier to do things the light side way, which often involve convincing. The Sandral-Matale feud was always a frustration with my soldier-counselor, but not with my scout guardian. I highly recommend saving your points for when you reach Jedi because then persuade becomes a class skill, allowing you to dump all your skills into persuade. I was able to keep persuade at max level throughout the game, and it became really easy for me to convince everyone, a previous frustration with another lightsider character. So scout will have an easier time getting through (altough the game itself is easy for almost all builds) and slightly less skills, altough in no way did it hinder my enjoyment of the game. In fact, Id strongly encourage you to take the scout, but then again I never tried the scoundrel. I can assure you though that the scout was lots of fun for me.

I choose scoundrel

As scoundrel I saw my persusasion skills the highest and plus you have the sneak attack skills, which comes in handy during all phases of the game!
