How do you complete quests?????

I have done the plantes how i wanted to, but i have not completed all the PARTY QUESTS by this i mean i have not completed looking for CARTH'S SON because i have already done Korriban and i am now on TATOOINE but Bastilla has been kidnapped by Malak, how can i complete these quests with these problems, have i messed up by doing the worlds wrong or something, i did'nt even know you could do the worlds wrong anyway?

You cant finish Bastilas quest if Malak has her (Make peace with mother / Love intrest) as for the other I got most of them to talk by teleporting back and forth from the Ebon Hawk....once they stop talking to you it usualy meens that you have triggered part of the quest, and the NPC encounter will usualy happen around the Ebon Hawk. If you arnt getting a responce from an NPC and there is no encounter, change planets. Since a few of them end you back on say "Tattooine" they cant be started there.

The way to trigger party quests is to have the party members with you outside the ebonhawk when you arrive on a planet. It doesn't matter in what order you visit the planets. To make sure you get all the party quests:
1. Talk to everyone in your party as much as you can. The quests won't be triggered if you haven't learned enough backstory.
2. Every time you land on a new planet, take a moment to switch your party members around upon exiting the ebonhawk. Make sure every NPC has a chance to be in your party two at a time until something is triggered. By this I mean, leave the Ebonhawk then just sit there outside of it and use the party select option to juggle your characters around. You can do this all at once.
Note: Every NPC quest will be triggered in the area directly outside the Ebonhawk. It will be some random character walking up to you and recognizing a member of your party. It doesn't matter what planet you're on.

As for Bastilla, if she's already been kidnapped... sorry. Too late.
