how do i kill the krayt dragon?!?

Talk to the hunter.

You need to have completed the sand people bit...

you can't kill it yourself just using a lightsaber, you have to lure it into mines - if you speak to the hunter like gregthesleeper said then he explains how to lure it out and kill it.

1. Get 2 bantha fodder.

2. Complete sand people bit.

3. Talk to the hunter.

4. Talk to a bantha near the hunter. They follow you. You lose 1 bantha fodder.

5. Kill the sand people. You can get more gaffi sticks.

6. Talk to the bantha again. You lose another bantha fodder.

7. Watch the cutscene

8. Dragon is dead!

P.S. Does anyone know how to get stuff from remains of krayt dragon/rancor. I attack them and theey disappear leaving no items!

the remains contain 2 krayt dragon crystals - you are given one of these by the hunter. if you then kill him you can get the other as well. the remains contain nothing if you allow the hunter to live as he picks up both crystals and gives you one of them

Usually there is a little sack left behind after they disappear. The same way there are often belts or other items left behind when you kill other characters/creatures.

Are you saying that there is nothing like that either?

I went back and replayed a saved game. After you kill the rancor, there are remains that you can "attack", but there aren't any items. Once you finish attacking the remains, the rancor carcass just vanishes.

I thought that the rancor left something, but I guess I was wrong.
