Game crashes-Dantooine courtyard

Okay, I am now exploring the Courtyard and killing Kath Hounds; there are a series of what look like "perspective lines" which I am walking thru (almost like hanging ivy). I have seen these lines before in the Undercity. Anyway, frequently the game crashes dumping me back to the desktop (obviously I'm on a PC) or I may find that my character cannot move. I did the patch a while ago.

Any suggestions?

Turn off the grass in the options, that should fix it.

Thanks Paulsbo (you didn't live in Poulsbo, did you?), turning off the grass really cleaned up the graphics. I'm no longer walking thru a jungle.

No problem. It runs smooth as silk on my machine, but my uncle had similar problems. It was unplayable for him because it kept crashing, and he happened to stumble on the fix on the Lucas Arts forums.
