Dustil - Korriban

Hey, a quick Q.

I don't think I can complete this quest and I'm wondering if I'm wrong.

I didn't get the passcard for Uthars room from Yuhahaha Ban, nor did I have a high enough security skill to break in.

So I left it until AFTER I killed Uthar and Yuhahaha in Sadow's tomb. Now, all Dustil does is fight me, and when I talk to Carath all he wants to do is bring the datapad to Dustil. Newsflash- he doesn't want it!

So do I just need to kill Dustil and forget about finishing out the quest? Thats my thinking. Lemme know.

I usually just bash the door if my security skills sucks, or I'll just transit back to Ebon Hawk and get Mission or one of the droids to open the door.

So you mean that Dustil now doesn't want the datapad or you haven't got it yet.

When I played, I already bashed the door and got the datapad so when I met Dustil, I was able to convince him to quit the Sith and finished Carth's quest.

Your answer, unfortunately, is no. If you've already passed that point before bringing back proof to Dustil, he will only fight you. Same thing happened to me. I reverted to an older save, but that's a whole lot to redo...

If you kill Yura-ban (sp?) and Uthar then yes you have to fight everyone. But.. there is a way to kill only Uthar, and then you can re-enter the academy. When you have to pick sides, say you're with Yura, then kill Master Uthar. Then Yura will turn on you. I said "I don't want power" Because I knew I had to try to not kill her, so I could give the datapad to dustil. I broke in before to Uthar's room, but I guess I missed that footlocker somehow. So anyways... I had to fight her anyways, but she says, "Wait, I surrender, you are too strong." Or something along those lines. She then says, "Gather your hatred and strike me down." Or some such junk. I said, "Leave now. Go!" and then, she claims you aren't a true sith. I responded with, "I'm showing you Mercy, don't push it." She talks about your destiny yadda yadda, but then says she'll let you leave and won't try to stop you. So then I go back to the Academy and tell Dustil about Uthar.

So yeah, if you have your fight saved against Uthar, then just do that I chose to fight him because after I killed them both, he had 3000 credits and a couple other goodies to sell/use on my droid. So I wanted his stash.
