DS mastery vs. LS mastery

Ok this is something thats driving me crazy, I cant seem to get mastery and im alsmost at the end of the game for my second time. No its abvious that DS is easier to get than LS mastery, I was wondering how long did it take you guys to get mastery on either side (preferebly light)...

Pretty easy really. In my last game, I took several DSP hits and passed up some LSP for cheaper droids, free credits and such, and had light side mastery by the third star map. You could get it much quicker if you wanted to. There's a bug you can exploit involving that stowaway girl to get dark side mastery quickly, if I'm not mistaken, although I've never tried it on the PC version so I'm not sure if it works with that.

READ ONLY AFTER THE UNKNOWNWORLD!
When you get off the unknownworld and choose the evil or good path in your conversation with Bastilla you get so much DS or LS points that when your almost neutral you will still optain mastery.

Lightside Mastery by end of 2nd starmap

Darkside Mastery on first planet after dantoonie by just telling the little girl to leave my ship then it was maxed

Ok thanks for the tip about the run-away girl on your ship for dark side, ill be sure to try that one...what about the LS points? I have done everything right but I cant seem to get it...I guess ill just have to wait till Bastila at the end and not go to the Star Forge, instead finish all other quests.....Another thing, what happens when you do get mastery for either side?

When you optain mastery you gain certain bonusses depending on your class.
Do a search on this forum there where multiple threads about it.
