choppy on Dantooine

I have KOTOR for the PC, and since about the time I reached Dantooine it has been ridiculously choppy. It will be running fine for a minute, then all of a sudden freeze up, and start lookin like a slide show with 90% of the frames missing. The characters will be in one spot, then be all the way at the other side of the area. I can't look around, fight, move straight, or anything when it's like this, and it's like this most of the time. I turned down the resolution and disabled all the extra graphics I found under the graphics section and the configuration. What else can I do? This was the second best laptop Dell had to offer when I bought it the summer of 04. Why isn't this working? ><

Known issue with Dantooine that was never fixed. Try using our search function on Dantooine in this forum, and you'll find dozens of suggestions for dealing with this. Just remember, there's never been a single, completely solution that works for everybody--because Bioware never came out with it.

Thread closed, to avoid duplication (per Buck's instructions).
