can't leave Ebon Hawk on Leviathan (spoilers)

I got the third star map and was taken to Leviathan after leaving the planet. I can't get off the Ebon Hawk now though. All my charachters are standing in the main room and my workbench is gone. WHen I look at my map it is not of the Ebon Hawk. How do I get off the ship? I can't take the normal exit.

I'm having trouble answering you, because you only get taken aboard the Leviathan after you've gotten *four* star maps, not three. You don't have to get off the Ebon Hawk at that time. You're captured and taken off in cutscenes.

That's the problem. I don't go to the cutscene. I see my ship go into hyperspace to go to the next planet and the Leviathan catches me in a tractor beam. Then I begin a dialogue with Carth about him wanting vengance and after that, I am in the Ebon Hawk and can't get off of the ship. All of my charachters are in the main room and my workbench is gone. I can't leave the Ebon Hawk.

Can you dialog with any of your NPCs?

Yes. They are all in the main room instead of being in their usual hang out spots. When I go to exit the ship, I can't go out.
On the map screen It says Ebon Hawk but the map is obviously from Leviathan.

Very odd. I assume you have some previous saves, that let you avoid this problem?

There wouldn't happen to be an ominous little droid sitting in the... ugh... co-ckpit, would there?

Did you discuss with carth and bastilla who is going to save you??? You are supposed to have a conversation about it with the two of them.... (because three of you are going to be taken to the interogation room others simply taken prisoners to somewhere and one will have to help you escape)

THere is not a droid on the bridge (wish there was!), and I can't talk to Bastilla because she's the only one not on the Ebon Hawk. I spoke with everyone else though. The only one that has anything different to say other than the normal story dialogue is Carth. He says that we are wasting time talking and we need to fight our way off the Leviathan.
I have tried previous saves (going back as much as the beginning of the Wooke planet I was just on) and always get the same result.

This sucks.

you are taken on the leviathan after three star maps in the pc version. unless you include the one on dantooine. then you are taken after four. but for some reason most people do not consider that when they are making their star map count.

Very strange. For some reason the game hasn't initialised the cutscene that moves Carth, Bastila and the PC to the brig. Carth's speaking as if you've already been released from the holding cells. Sounds exactly like the galaxy droid bug, except with no galaxy droid... do you have a save before you get captured that you can fall back on?

Just to be clear: there are *five* star maps--no question on this point: five cut scenes for five star maps, on five planets. You get pulled aboard the Leviathan after revealing four of the star maps, on any four of the planets. Obviously, Dantooine is going to be among 'em, because that launches your quest for the others.

That being the case, how many star maps have you already exposed? They're on Dantooine, Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Korriban, and Manaan. If you've revealed four of these, then I would suggest turning off movies in configuration, under the KotoR main menu, then leave your last planet, again. If you've only revealed three, the problem seems to be a coding issue--and I'd suggest checking the Bioware boards, and contacting their tech department.
