Can't get out of theHrakert Rift, any HELP?

I destroyed the harvester, got to be eco-friendly you know! Went to the Star Map. Even went back to say hi to Sami and the angry dude. Tried to exit through the outer air lock in the rift and the game keeps saving then loading on a much earlier save. Tried the use, security, security tunneler and security spike on the door, but it still keeps saving and loading. Even tried to get out through the original airlock I used to get into the rift and nothing. ANY suggestions? Please.

Hmm. The obvious suggestion is try from an earlier savegame, but the whole game saving then loading an older game is new to me.
How much earlier is the old game loading from?

Hmmm, do you think its possible that you have accidentally loaded the earlier savegame? by accident and you are going around getting responses you dont expect? try checking your savegames.
