I usually had all three characters throw Plasma Grenades first (2 or 3 Plasma hits will do some serious damage), then popped on my shield. Then I think I had the droid use a stun attachment, while I slashed, while, I think, I had Bastila keep healing me... And since I often chose Melee's version of Sniper when I could, I often used that almost exclusively to get the critical hits.

This is always a hard fight for people relatively new to the game. After the droid, put on all the different types of stims and a shield on all of you characters. When you get in there, speed through the conversation so your bonuses last longer during combat. When combat starts, have Bastila use push on him, then stun. If you've stunned him with the push, then the stun will give you an extra round to beat on him. Since you're stuck with T3-M4, have him unload on the governor with a flamethrower, if you gave it one, and have your PC and bastila attack him. Try to keep him occupied with bastila in melee combat, because she's probably better defensively because of her high starting DEX, pausing once every 2 or 3 rounds to have her use a medpac or re-stim. With all of your party blasting away at him, he should go down fairly quickly. Also, you could set the combat difficulty to Easy. With my new solo guardian, 12 STR 16 DEX 14 CON 08 INT 15 WIS 12 CHA, I had him down in about a minute of manuevering and re-stimming. I had 16 DEX because that's what I had put my attribute point into.

t3 is a pathetic fighter...keep him safe in the hide out or the hawk until you've throughly cleared a level, then bring him out to hack or open doors. its not until much later in the game that you get stuff for droids, which is actually better than stuff for meatbags...

Actually, the shield disruptor and flamethrower can be a great help against him, and blasters do their own damage, and T3 has the blaster profiency, so why not? He may be a little less profiecient with the pistols than carth, but he works if you don't want to change at all. But what I recommend is equipping zaalbar with a vibrosword, and mission's vibroblade (fully upgraded) and with two characters, three if you're melee, pounding away at him, he'll be shredded. The end. Contract cancelled, apocalypse, the trumpets sound, so on and so on.

T3 is great little backup and saves putting points into security and computers. His only problem is if people go melee against him he simply cannot defend. Put if he is in the background while you are drawing fire and dueling people, his flame throwers and stun rays work pretty well.

Of course, the reason there are better upgrades for droids is because, particularly for T3, they have poor defense.

You can easily "cheeze" your way to defeat the governor by simply keeping one of your party alive and then leaving by the elevator. Then once up top, your party will reappear along side you. You can heal them then return downstairs to fight the governor.

if you keep him stunned, either with concussion grenades or with the stun ray, this fight is a laugh. Firstly, he wont be hitting you, secondly his defense is lowered some due to his stunned status. With bastila's improved flurry or zaalbars improved flurry/power attack this fight is a joke. It didn't get past the first stun for me, and mind you I was playing the scoundrel 2, consular 18 path so i couldnt fight. Its an easy fight if you can inflict stun on him, but if youre with zaalbar and bastila both its better to use a concussion grenade because its harder to save at that time than bastila's stun or push, which suck. Zaalbar will surely save against its effects with his uncanny dodge feats, and maybe bastila gets stunned but with zaalbar pounding away with a double or two weapons, it really doesn't take long.

I just fought him using my "pure soldier experience", no melee, with Carth and Zaalibar using blasters only. My chaacter has improved rapid shot and 2 handed fighting. I cusomized garth to have impoved power blast and 2 weapon fighting. This fight was a joke. I'm not even using the soldier class, rather the scout class.

Most of the time seems to be the luck of the roll. I had Bastila successfully cast horror on him most of the time and he usually can't recover to fight back. Or he gets pushed back though he saves against the stun effect.

I wonder if buying adhesive grenades will work wonders as they give no save and allows no action on the part of the enemy. Of course all your party better be using blasters LOL to avoid getting stuck. Maybe adhesive then ion then frag then adhesive then frag etc. ad nauseam while your other party members use their blasters.

Well, I replaced T3 with Zaalbeck right after the little guy let me through the door to the Sith HQ. Then, I gave BAstila and Big Z their melee weapons and stood back with a rifle and let fire

Wow, just confirmed he goes down very fast from 3 member party on grenadier script as long as you open up with an adhesive grenade (Difficult mode).
Member 1 -adhesive (only one needed out of the two you pick up on Taris), plasma, frag
Member 2-plasma, frag, frag
Member 3-plasma, frag, frag
means dead or near death Sith governor.
Since there really isn't much point to use grenades after Taris you might as well use them here .

He is a sitting duck while he is charging his shields at start of combat LOL. If you never used the plasma grenades to take down Bendak you should have plenty to use for this fight. I felt a bit guilty for the ease with which it can be done.

If you have a bunch of credits, this works wonderfully:

After having all three characters get there behinds handed to them at least five times, I took about an hour long break to think about it. And, I came to a realization: I have a crapload of mines that I never use. So, first I went to go buy even more.

I returned to the hallway right before the governor, and this is what I did:

Engage solo mode.

Position your other two characters against the wall you entered from, facing the governor's room. Give them close combat or disrupter weapons.

Use your third (I have a scout) and proceed to mine the crap out of the room. I think I set over 12 mines; plasma and frag.

Trigger the door and dialogue, run back to your other chracters and watch the hilariaty of a dark jedi walking through a minefield.

In the event that the governor actually makes it through the minefield, a grenade or two and some slashing should make quick work of him. I think my fight lasted about 10 seconds.
