Bastila romance question

Hi

I hope someone can help me out. I've heard there's a bug which kills the romance if you have another conversation straight after the 'kiss' scene.
Is this bug fixed in the 1.3 patch, or would I have to continue the remainder of the game without discussing the romance with Bastila?

Hi there, first off, welcome to the fourms.

Now I have never heard of this bug, but when I talked to her after I just got the same reply until the end of the game. So it might be waffle, but you can still try it just dont put too much stock in it.

Thanks for the welcome.

I played on without talking to Bastila about 'what happened' and you get more conversations referring to the romance later on in the game, when you meet her on the temple, and in the star forge.
I don't know if you'd get some of the specific romance conversations if you did talk to her again.

You mean the next time you meet her on the Star Forge? Well, yeah, the romance option will turn up if you followed the romance path with Bastilla. In fact, this will make the persuasion shorter and will avoid killing her. Can't for the life of it remember how I managed to pull it off but just follow what the walkthrough on this site said and you'll be fine.

After my kiss scene (which i made the move on her, dang she's hot!!!!) i talked to her again and she said she's still weak with her feelings ( which means she still got the hots for me, thank the Lord) and after that i could still talk to her just not about romance. Then on the Star Forge I told her i loved her and she returned to the light ( which is some serious love, giving up taking over the galaxy for me) so it must be a bug.

Maybe its a bug, maybe its not. Spoilers, please highlight: My memory is slightly hazy but I remember reading a game guide that choosing the, "I love you," conversation option will cut down significantly on the length of the conversation. As for me, as usual, I followed the walkthrough step-by-step and that includes the conversation options as well (well, not everything but only in the most dire of situations).
