In the UK when I was born: Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep by Middle of the Road was #1. A very sad day in british music history. i've never heard this song before, perhaps it's a dandy, and also a remake from the fifth century.

In the U.S., it was 'it's too late' by carole king.

I'm not very pleased with the number ones on my birthdate.
