Question You as a Robot

If the technology exhisted, would you put your brain in a robot body? Like if your body was crushed by a truck and everything was paralized from the neck down, would you do it? Would you choose just a human-like robot model or a monsterous war-machine? Wouldnt all of this just lead to the robocalispe?

No, I would put my head on a robot arm, so I would have a robot hand-head and I'd have a hand on my neck. It'd be great.

Not at all! This is a serious thread about robot bodies here. If I'm going to get into a robot body, it'll be done my way. That six pack thing in your hand is a good idea. I need to a robot that also produces vodka for dispension like a fountain when I choose to do so. Out of the fingers on the hand where my head should be, of course.

I would order one of those flexible, unbreakable robots. Imagine what you can do if you can't harm you body! Jump of buildings, do every extreme sport without risk of injuries, climb up mountains etc. And the robot must be water resistant, so I can explore the seas...

You think they'd have soldiers have their bodies get replaced by machinery?

It makes sense in a certain way, but the logistics would be insane.
It'd also put my medic-ass out of work.

Well, I'm sorry for your medic-ass. I prefer my human form, but if I was gonna be stuck in bed or in a chair the rest of my life I'd probably go for a robot body. Something practical that still allows me to imbibe alcohol.

Would be really nasty and messy if you'd fall on your head, jumping off a building.

I would definitely let my body be replaced by a robot if I was paralyzed from the neck down. It's no good to just lie in a bed without a future, choice and possibilities. I wouldn't worry about a 'robocalispe' in that situation, not even for a split second. Robots don't have a will, they only have malfunctions, and that could be dangerous, if we become slaves of the robots; if robots form the backbone of our world. Robot is bulgarian or something (Brynn?) for slave, so who's the master if we're slaves of slaves?

Oh, definitely. Even as it is, I often dress in cardboard boxes with dials drawn on them with a marker so I can look more like a robot.

I'd be all evil-looking with glowing eyes, and I'd be made up of hundreds of independant little spiderbots that would probably be nigh on impossible to control and end up scattered across the world, hiding in fruit crates. but they'd look cool.
