I'm sorry, I've been lurking through all these "what do you hate about America/Germany/France," etc, and I just don't understand the appeal of bashing other peoples and customs. 
So...please drop a line about some things that you do like about people and places around the world.

Well i love the beauty of Wales, with it's lovely scenery and breathable air.

Here, I'll contribute, too: I was in Switzerland over the summer, and I really, really liked their cows! I'm from dairyland here in the US, and have seen my share of bovines, but the Swiss cows take the cake - just beautiful!

As many problems as the U.S. has I like it here a lot. Maybe its just because I was born and raised here...ah hell I don't know why I like America so much, I just do.

| @Azeroth: I like the US, too, and will probably never leave it in favor of another place. I think a lot of people criticize it as too "capitalistic" (which I disagree with), or "materialistic" ... but truthfully, I like the fact that I can live a comfortable life here. I like having a computer (so I can have these discussions; and I like having a car and going for drives in the country.
Anyone else? It still makes me a little sad that the "I hate" threads have hundreds of hits, and mine so few (I know it's brand new).
