I've been reading the excellent thread on post-modernism (very educating to a dull-wit like me) and I noticed that a point often cropped up. Who are "they"? These people/entities who shape and shift humanity but who disguise themselves behind the mask of "they". So I thought this would make a good thread. Your thoughts please.

They have economic control over the entire world.
The truth of this is debatable

I thought They were that bunch of guys who keep taking photos of me from across the street. Maybe They are a clandestine clan of everyone in the world who wears sunlasses indoors.
