It seems that, as of late, the good doctor has been struggling to recover from the flamings that he received(examples would be Minerva's flame a few days back and craig's flame ).This is rather disturbing as everyone knows that the doctor never had any trouble in the past in counter-flaming the person who flamed him. This thread is for everyone to discuss as to what has led to the doctor's current decline in the art of flaming.

@Brink: I don't think my flame didn't do much of damage, to be honest. Obviously, I want to take all the credit, but it was more of the suprise than anything else.

I know the inside story: several victims of Waverly's flames sent complaints to Buck. Buck warned Waverly----> Waverly stopped flaming !

I take the blame. I told Waverly that I had quit posting here at GB and then pulled a 180 and didn't.

Please forgive me and my Evil ways.

I will go to the Hall of Shame for my Vile Evil deeds.

My theory on both instances:
On Minerva: He didn't mean to cause anything (he was just babbling away unthinkingly) , therefore he was surprised when Minerva reacted.

On Craig: I think he has some guilt as to flaming a young person. That's just the way I see it

Brink, I'm just recovering from a shock like condition, but off hand, I have two theories:

1. For some time now, I have suspected that Waverly is suffering from a condition called dissociative syndrome, known as multiple or split personality. Today, we might be witnessing the breakthrough of his real, formely hidden self.

(Edit: Disclaimer: This is meant as a joke, and has nothing to do with real DSM-IV diagnosis "dissociative syndrome", I'm just poking fun at Waverly)

2. More unlikely but not yet to be ruled out, the doc finally succeeded in his mind control experiments, and is now controlling Craig with the side effect that he and Craig has swapped minds.

What do you think? And should we start considering possible treatments? (Please, say yes)

More shocking examples of Waverly's decline:

He admitted to having feelings

He wept like a baby after one of his flaming sessions

C Elegans-Please feel free to do so

I cannot say why they are shocking... And certainly not decline.

Goodnight, Waverly.

Minerva-The old Waverly flamed without regret both his victims as well as any innocent bystanders. He certainly never cried in public.
