I just found out about this website, and I think it's a fabulous idea. The website is called BookCrossing . If you are like me and you have too many books, you should check this out. The idea is this--you register the book on BookCrossing and put a note inside the book with the website and registration #. You leave the book somewhere to "release" it. The person who finds it will hopefully read it and go to the website and write a note about themselves and what they thought of the book, and then "release" it to another stranger. (It's also a good site for book reviews)

The scary thing is...there are probably a few people out there who would really get into wearing found dirty old boxers...and then telling others about it!
What I like about this site is that I tend to collect far too many books...I hate to give them up, but it's kind of a selfish thing, since I don't intend to read most of them again. There's also a sort of "message in a bottle" aspect to it that really appeals to me.
