| | | Weirdness on Google I don't know how this happened but try this and tell me what you think:
Go to www.google.com
Enter the keyword: failure
Click on: I'm Feeling Lucky
Watch and see what comes up.
Interesting, huh?

| | Type in 'google' and 'failure' in the search application of GameBanshee and hit Go.
Why do so many people look up 'failure', I wonder...

| | | I'm fairly sure it's google having a laugh, every so often one of these things gets emailed around and then everyone goes out and looks it up. It's all a conspiracy I'm sure.
There is another rather unfortunate search involving a discharge of a less than savoury nature that has now been attributed to a senator in the US.

This has been up several times by now and is a repost, along side French Military victores and I do recall other examples as well, but now I can't remember the excat wording to search for them.
As for the "I feel lucky" part - that simply takes the first link in the list, so nothing "strange" or mystic about that.
So nothing new under the sun here.
Edit: whoah - blast from the past. Hi @Sleepy. |

| | | Well, even though its the first link it goes to, that still leaves questions.
For one, the word "failure" cannot be found on that page of the site. Now why is this?
Another, why is it #1 in the first place? That seems to NOT be an amatuer site making fun of him, but rather a respected site of some kind (I looked once and remember nothing).
Still though, I find it insanely funny. |

| | It is *not* Google which creates these pages, perhaps somebody within Google organisation, but he is not doing it "for Google".
It is the socalled "Googlebombing". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Googlebomb
People make pages which are linked to from all over the web, so they will automatically get a high ranking when Google searchs throught it. |

| | | @dragon wench, Xandax & Aegis:
Yeah it's not bad, I noticed Georgi posting here yesterday and I realised I hadn't been on here for ages and ages. So I thought I'd drop in and be sarcastic and say hello.
Just had a job interview, not sure how it went really or if I even still actually want to job, still, good interview experience if nothing else. Apparently I did a good interview, or something.
