Considering Pakistan's past history with the US that is more than fair.
Pakistan fought the proxy war with the USSR for the US in Afghanistan.
Our men, intelligence and money was used for the first 4 years till 1983.
Only after 1983 did the US provide money, otherwise we trained the Mujahids and our own men.
In 1989 right after the USSR left, we were slapped with sanctions for having nuclear weapons.
A huge change in a very short period of time.
Many pakistanis felt that they were used by the US.
Then in 1996 we were labelled a rogue nation, but not as high as iran or iraq.
In 1998 we were slapped with more sanctions for the Nuclear tests.
In 1999 we were again slapped with Sanctions due to our military leadership.
Now all of a sudden we are the friends of the US??
Bull****.
The US wants to take out Osama bin laden and are asking us again to do what we did for 11 years in the 80's.
This time we want something in return.
A nation should look after itself and its national interests, the basic premise of Politics and diplomacy.
That is what pakistan is doing.
