| |  The New SYM Rules - Death Pool Gambling Thread
[Let me begin by saying I intend no disrespect towards Buck. The rules are fair and he does a good job. This thread is poking fun at people have been pushing the envelope a bit]
So the new SYM rules are in effect, and it's just a matter of time before some regular is caught inflagrante and must take the long walk of shame off of GameBanshee forever... So why not make a game of it?  Pick the member you think is most likely to get pitched, and the nature of the infraction (eg. Weasel - flaming the Pope during a return visit to the board)
I'll go first, and in an effort not to jinx anyone else, I'll go with: Waverly - forgetting double entendre altogether, posting 'single entendre' filth.

This is the smart bet, time is the killer and my time is running short. Only so many post can be posted before, like Waverly says..I take the walk to banned land.
At times I wonder if it wouldn't be for the better to leave now...cut my losses. Because I will flame Drakron if he comes back, I have had enough of his smartass mouth.

| Buck hasn't every step out of line that I know of, so the odds are it will not happen.
Plus Buck pays for the board/server cost and if he wanted to he could step over the line. It would set a bad example, but in all truth..it's his site.

I'm clearing this up. The_Pope has left. He doesn't plan to come back, because of the excessive flaming. Everybody may think he was a flamer, but he was flamed alot, so he's gone.
Just another person gone because of flaming.
Maybe we should make a list of prominant people who have left because of it.
Drakon, C.Elegans (kind of), The_Pope to name a few. |

Miss Elegans was not flamed off - she left b/c of an objection to the removal of a thread. Drak and the_poop may have left b/c of flaming but they dished out more than enough themselves. Flame not lest ye be flamed
I've always considered Grunt-brand BBQ flames as nothing more than a joke. But if flaming of any kind is not to be tolerated, then so be it. I already said this was overdue and wish GB all the best luck - I have fond memories. |

This is a Speak Your Mind-forum. Of course you can expect flames and spam now and then. That is not why the forum rules were invented. They are just a representation of the policy we as moderators have tried to uphold in this forum in the past and will continue in the future.
The only difference now is that they are written down and clear to all.
Some persons notorious for flaming and spamming have been addressed by us when the need was there, and fortunately nobody has been banned.
So please respect each other when posting, but keep it fun. This is not a serious place, although I will always welcome a serious thread. Just use your common sense when posting.
If the situation arises that you have an argument with somebody, notify him by private message or us. Keep personal vendettas of this board. That way the fun stays for all.
