Maybe I should have put a sign above the door:
"Warning, Dancing Danes Within, Enter At Your Own Risk"

| | @DW: ...or, just ask a SYM mod to change the title of this thread to "Home for the Depraved II."
*looks behind the bar and notices a whip handle peeking out from a bottom shelf*
Let the good times roll.
*excuses self to attend to the laundry*

And, honestly... I had *nothing* to do with the strippers...
*points finger at CE*
@Des,
I don't know why exactly...but the thought of karaoke scares me even more than the thought of Danish strippers

Mmmmm hmmmm. Hmmmmmm....
It wouldn't be due to the fact that your mind is only a fraction of a thought away from the gutter at all times, now would it?

*Thinks about changing cat litter while contending with unpleasant cold* *sighs again*
Who? Moi?
Surely you jest...
My mind isn't *always* half a step away from the gutter. Sometimes it is actually quite pristine, it's just that the company I keep always manages to push me over the edge

As a former cat owner, I am only too familiar with how they make their displeasure known when you, their servant, fail them in such an important area. Quote: |

Why waste your time a half-step away, when you can just take the plunge and wallow in it? Pristine gutter-thinking unsullied by needless concerns and baggage.

Just a silly idea on my part. Its embarrassing and humiliating to begin with. Never done it before but I'm not going to do so anyway and not even in my lifetime. *points Thompson right at the karaoke machine*

It was.. um.. "interesting."
Beyond the fact that Karaoke is disturbing, I'm just concerned about what some of the people around here could end up "singing." I mean..knowing certain posters... it could be anything from Weird Al Yankovic to "Twinkle, twinkle little Star..."
@Chan, indeed. I recall mention of a laundry basket and said feline making its displeasure most...visible.
*....wanders off to attend to litter*
Oh well, with that kind of encouragement..
*plunges into gutter*
*discovers trap door leading to Game Banshee basement.... Uh oh....*

| | | The Mystic Thief watches from the corner of her eye a man in ragged robes stumble into the bar. She goes deeper under her hood as she thinks she recalls 'borrowing' his money bag and expensive shoes earlier that week.
She is amused as he begins what seems like polishing on the iron legs of the bar stools. His wild-eyed stare is lewd and she wonders if he thinks he's entered a strip club. The Gull's Roost has always been a place for the ragged and the loners, for deals, bartering and whispers in dark corners - he'll be disappointed, she muses.

My self-esteem would have hit rock bottom if I sing that right in front of my friends. Anyway, it is less embarrasing to do it in front of your friends rather than in front of everybody in a bar. That would be total humiliation to me.
