Let's see the benefits of insanity:

You know there are just not that many benefits to being sane.

Benefits of Insanity:

You can think about anything, and I mean anything.

Work is no longer a boring experience but a adventure in the "Great Beyond"

Traffic is no longer much of a problem, because now you can drive on the side of road and if there are pedestrians you get extra points for hitting them

You can't rule the world effectively without going insane, so why not start out insane in the first place.

You can get just as high being insane without taking drugs.

You do not believe in God, because you think you are God and thus perfect, so who could mess with perfection.

You are always right, so there is not any stress with being wrong.

People who are "sane" look at you uneasily and edge away.

And if you feel like, for example, standing outside some girl's window and stare eerily at her window every night, it's okay because well that's just you being nuts.

Oh yes the voices in your head are so much more interesting and less predictable also, you really have to watch out for the ones in your head.

The benefits of insanity are numerous, so why do people say what a great thing sanity is, seems to me what people should treasure is their not their sanity but their insanity.
So if you are feeling like going insane, go insane, you get all these benefits, going insane is like being Superman, nothing can touch you and the world is your oyster.

Any other benefits to insanity?

"Do not turn inward to find peace and wisdom, turn outward instead to find liberation from the narrow boundaries of self", quote from Gary Paul Nabhan, paraphrased of course

"When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong" quote from Arthur C. Clarke, thought it was interesting.

Tips on living longer: eat right, exercise, and yes castrate yourself, eunuchs live longer then normal people.

Right... I hear high security mental hospitals are oh-so-much more comfortable than prisons...

"We're all insane. It's what we do with that insanity that tags us as 'sane' or 'insane.'"~Me

Benefits of being insane:

If you make no sense, that's a good thing.

If you make sense, that's also a good thing because it means that you are sharing your insanity with those around you.

You can go out when it is 20°F outside wearing a miniskirt and it's okay because you're just that insane person.

Surely in that case, we're all sane as well

Ah, but if you make sense to those around you, wouldn't that make you sane?

Only if you're actually sane. If they are as insane as you then they have a chance of understanding you.

But how do you know that it's not you who is sane and everybody else who is insane?

I agree Georgi, A madman said to his friend all the world is crazy but you and I, and I have my doubts about you.

I am of the impression that everybody else is nuts but me, because everything else I do makes sense and everything else other people do doesn't make any sense.
