Well - Thank god it is Saturday.
Except ..... I'm stuck at work, trying to get some difficult coding done so our whiny and incompetent clients can get it on monday.

So bought some potatochips, pulled a couple of cokes from the fridge .... and went to work and started coding ..... well of course, posting at GB right now (duh )

Aint my life thrilling

Anybody doing something fun these days?

Well, I'm stuck with my thesis (oh what fun - the theoretical problems of traduction in psychological novels, main theme: depression)... While there's sun and wind and my man's off for an all-day grill-party in the mountains... aargh.
So maybe it will cheer you up work will always find you!

Not much. Well, nothing much besides writing a short paper on the Arndale bombing and the occasional stroll into Faerun. The weather is really nice though, so I was thinking about picking up my inline skates and work out a bit this afternoon.

What is it exactly that you do, Xandax?

I'm planning to have a nice relaxing day playing Temple of Elemental Evil, which I have never played before, but have to cope with my nephew and niece later - dunno which would be more tiring and stressful, that or having to do work

I usually work at least 2 Saturdays a month myself..and Yes Xandax, I find that GB forums are a way to take my mind off the work during the day also But no work today, Im planning on trying to level up my character in Morrowind, she's only a level 4, but I've saved up and have some X's to spread around... Going to take my mother out to dinner later, meeting my daughter after her work and the son-in-law is in the living room playing Gears of War.
I think the fun part is going to be me, looking over his shoulder and telling him what he's doing wrong, and laughing when he gets his head handed to him

It's a gorgeous spring day here in Ultima Thule, so I've been out in the beergarden across the street an lifted a few brews with some buddies. The only hair in the soup was the soccer game being shown way too loud on big screens all over the place. *sigh* The only local boozer where I actually like hanging out and they have to turn it into a football pub. It was okay as long as they kept it inside, but during the last world cup some genious figured it would be nice to have screens outside too, and they ruined a perfect summer watering hole. If there's one thing I can't abide it's football supporters... Going to a 50 year birthday knees-up this evening, so the sprog's with the grandparents and I'm enjoying the rare peace and quiet around the house.

Well, I did my homework, played a bit of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and went out for dinner with family friends at a restaurant. Enjoyed it a lot.

Well, I'm home sick from work with some sort of stomach bug, but that isn't quite fun.

Best thing I've probably done so far today is surf the internet and clarify some confusions and all on certain other boards I post on.

I had couple of basketball matches today, then I watched few movies from DVD (Death Tunnel, Eragon and The Amityville Horror). Now going to play a bit Freespace 2, prepare to the SYM Awards ceremony, after that going to work...

So nothing special happening here...

I work for a company which programs various things for clients - web pages/e commerce/other types of e-solutions, but our specialty is automating catalogue generation for the company so they do not have to set it up manually, but pretty much can press a button and get a product catalogue in pdf for distribution.
Currently I'm working on implementing a price scheme template which originally were three different templates but due to clients poor data, we found it was actually one template but just very dynamic, layout depending on data inputted to the scheme, which have given me many problems.

All rather boring for non-technical/programming people
