According to this article, it might have been abuse...

The article is in Dutch, but it seems that the woman was forced to "eat" the mobile phone.

I have to wonder about such things. Often, those being abused won't speak up for fear of being hurt by the abuser for doing so. Also, I've been informed that certain ladies were being sexually or physically abused only to find out they were lying and trying to get someone they didn't like in trouble.

It is quite possible she was forced though, and if so, that is horrible.
