Given the significance of this year, the following seems apt  Five surgeons are discussing as to who makes the best patients to operate on.
The first surgeon says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered."
The second says, "Yes, but you should see electricians! Everything inside them is color coded."
The third surgeon says, "Well, I really think librarians are the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order."
The fourth surgeon jumps in, "You know! I like construction workers. Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end and they understand when the job takes longer than you said it would."
The fifth surgeon shuts them all up when he proclaims, "You're all wrong. Politicians are, without a doubt, the easiest to operate on.They have no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains, no spine.. and the
head and the ass are interchangeable.

| | Well, some of my contact with politicians and politics has been quite immediate, so I guess I have what could be termed as 'inside knowledge'.. And trust me.. knowing about some of the stuff that *really* goes on, does nothing to improve my opinion of that particular realm

| | | preaching to the faithful DW... my dads was a government lawyer for a little over a decade, I grew up on his frustrated stories of corruption and backstabbing and how crappy the sonsof@*)#!(# really are. yes there are governments out in the middle of the ocean. yes they are all the same, go figure, third world countries governments are corrupt too.

I think there are 'good' politicians out there.. but sadly they are few and far between....
