SOCOM II is possibly the best tactical/stealth video games that there is. You act as an elite SEAL commander and your team has been called on to fight through the terrorist forces. You'll be battling through 12 of the most deadly missions ever, with more weapons, increased gameplay roles. You will protect the free world wherever it is threatened.

Much like the first SOCOM, SOCOM II is based mostly on teamwork. You must instruct your troops on their mission and command them and take on the leadership position.
SOCOM II also utilizes motion capture technology and was consulted apon by the real U.S. Navy SEALs.
In following the real life Navy SEALs, stealth is a huge part of the game. Ambushes, reconnaissance and hostage rescue are all missions that you will be called in to complete.
YOu will be visiting 12 different locations based within 4 diverse, real-world enviornments. You will be battling the world's terrorists in new, very detailed missions in Brazil, Russia, Albania, and Algeria.
You will be able to use your headset in 1 player mode along with Online, and will be able to give your teammates commands in real-time with your own voice. Online, you are also able to talk to your fellow gamers in lobby as well as in game, and when someone speaks their name will pop up on the screen allowing you to know who is talking. Both of these features add to the online experience.
Some new additions to online play are buddy lists, player profiles, a ranking system that not only tells you where you stand, but gives you medals and keeps all of your stats on record. There is also a clan ranking systemm letting you know who is the best clan out there.
I'll post some more detailed info as it comes to me, but until then Keep jamming on the first SOCOM and practice up...you'll need it.
