I seriously think marijuana, (spelt that right?) should be legalized. If anyone wants to comment on this, I'll explain more.

*nods* I concur, although I do believe the debate between Mah, Cuch and myself regarding the discussion of illegal substances never got resolved, and I think the mods will close this thread.

I dont really care on way or the other, seeing as most of those who want to smoke dont bother oeying that law any way, and most dont get caught, a few do, but most dont. Altough wasnt there some legislation passed recently that legalized it in small amounts some where in michigan/colorado/alaska?

I think it should be legalized. I mean The Man knows people are gonna do it anyway, so just legalize it so The Man can be cool.

No. And yet, yes. That depends on how will it be legalized.

I'm not trying to make Buck mad at me because of this, I just want an honest answer out of everyone. I mean they're putting up such a big deal about Marijuana, it makes me mad. They should go after some of the worse drugs, like Meth or Crack.

There is medical marijuana in 13 states.
Maine
Vermont
New York
Rhode Island.
Washington DC
Colarodo
Arizona
New Mexico
California
Oregon
Washington State.
Alaska
Hawaii.
There. Some states just choose the anal belligerent route, turning up their noses claiming "Criminal Cannabis". Bah! The two should never be used in the same scentence. Quote: |

It should definately be decriminalized. A lot less people would be criminalized, hence the prison populations would diminish. I think the gvt thinks is that it's too hard to 'convert' to the Cannabis Culture. Sure, It might cost millions, but ooh, the possibilities. It would make the world a better place.
Anyone interested in this should check out the Norml website. I believe it's www.norml.com

The discussion is about "should it be legalized?" so why would a mod close it? Its not (yet) a pro weed thread. Maybe we could focus on the way it could or shoudl be regulated.

I mean it gets me frustrated that they're putting so much effort keeping this off our streets, when its on their anyways. They should just legalize it and get it over with. I mean as I stated above, they're are worse drugs that they need to worry about.

Seriously, being criminalized for marijuana charges ruins good people's lives. It should be decriminalized.

Now, it is not regulated and therefore accepted cause people make more profit from it being illegal than if it was legal. Think about the people with the money making more money without paying taxes, without consumers complaining, without tribunal inquiries.
