For those of you who have not commented (four comments? It's E3, folks) on this article, a little reminder that there is a handy dandy news forum right up over, oh, here?
Spread, the love, people. I still read some of that stuff, depending on the headlines that flash accross the screen when I dodge through it when I visit, and I was surprised to see so few comments on the subject, especially from the regulars of SYM. This has been a paid advertisement from the recently renamed group "I hope that's you, Dragon Wench". Thank you.

I'm the same, I read it (or at least in the posts in it that interest me) but I hardly ever post in it. I think a lot of people do the same as it usually has quite a few people viewing it

I read the general forums, too. I don't comment there though because I don't want to spam up the serious threads. I don't like getting PM's from mods if I can help it!!

Oh gee, thanks Hill!
Make my life more difficult, why don't you?
Seriously, I was just thinking the other day, in fact, how much interesting stuff ends up in that forum, I read about games I've never even heard of.
@Shana,
as long as you keep any posts on topic, you'll be fine.

But if you don't have anything substantial to say more than you think it sucks, or doesn't suck, then why bother posting? Things like 'wow that sucks that E3 is getting cancelled' are only appropriate inside SYM.
Some of the gaming forums (like Morrowind, KotOR and similar) have more leniency but the general and announcement forums feel like they should be limited to value-added posts only. If you don't have additional information about what is happening to E3, links to more detailed articles, etc then you shouldn't post there (at least the reprimands I've seen tell me that).

| What I'm speaking about is the dozens of articles that actually have a response in there, and the other 13 or 14 thousand that do not. I know, myself not being one to preach to the quoir, some people who might not have the time or be inaware of what goes through there might have something valuable to comment.
In any case, regarding reprimands, posting comments on news articles I find similar to many other sites on the internet - they post, you comment. You'll find tons of little spurts from fable in there when he disagrees with something, and tons of other comments like this that are just regarding the picture being reported as a whole.
There are even more E3 threads, and I know many might not be interested, since they are more followup, but yesterday I saw screenshots that were new for two games I want to play when they come out. Just checking through the titles can give you some pretty excellent information on some of these games - if not comenting, seeing some of the games actually make it to the double digits before hitting the third page would be nice. I often read the news forum because it is just cool Buck has nice sources, all of them bookmarked by me at home or at work.

This seemed a good place to draw attention to Buck's new thread in Game Banshee News.
So everyone, if you see news announcements you would like to comment on, please do. EDIT
Or I should say, "If you see news announcements you would like to comment or rant on, please do."

Or to rant about MMOG articles

But this is not a rant thread
