Today I've experienced the most foul sensation of my life.

When going to work, in my confortable car (quite fast, I tell you), I've headed through a sequence of turns right and left, making an S. The track has place for two cars to walk side by side. I was in the right side. The woman was pushing a cart filled with scrap for sale (they do a lot of that in Brazil). I seen her only in the last minute. Brakes on. Tires scream. I dodge the woman, and see her dispair face. She has 60 years old for sure. I hit the cart. Hurt my car a bit, destroyed my front light, but nothing else happened.

So, I've almost killed a woman. And I got nervous about it. I'm still trembling (I'm writing this 30 minutes after the thing happened).

Has anybody here had similar or equal happenings before?

Well - a few very serious (but lucky outcome) accidents on my bike where I very well could have ended up 6-feet under. But besides that nope. Luckily - I'm good at deeling with my own problems, so I can work through shock effects alone. (I'm a very introverted person)

But it is fortunate that nobody got hurt, so dwell on that fact if you need to dwell on anything, and maybe - if you can't "shake" it from your system - you sould consider talking to somebody relevant about it.

Yeah, it's lucky no one was hurt. Maybe you should also consider driving more slowly round S-bends in future?

Yeah, you are right. I was nervous at the first time I posted... Now I'm calmer. I'm gonna spend something around 700 bucks on my car ( +-190 US dollars) so the only pain I had is the cost.

The car I could afford two years ago. A shame to think I am searching for another newer car these days and gonna have to spend some over it. I have a ford escord 1994. 97000 kilometers run on my hands... I keep it the best way I can, i love the car. (it is my first one).

Should of avoided the cart and hit the woman, would have been less expensive and gotten another dependant out of the world

I certainly hope you are being sarcastic.
