If I may be so bold as to suggest--the whole idea of ranting is better kept to private email. I would suggest Ivan might want to contact whichever moderator closed the subject he's referring to, and CC Buck, at the same time. Just my two cents.

| I have no reason to you do not close the topic. IMO you should do exactly what you did. You were right and logical closing the topic.
My new topic is and expression for the all forum members, about my feeling when some topic is closed and I have samething to say about it.
In your case, the topic, was directed for your poster side, not moderator side(the topic closed you also can reply it anymore).
Again, I have no restrictions as the way you moderate the Forum.
The problem is not the closing of the topic, the problem is that I hate when it happens.

For good or bad, some topics must be closed. Buck , Mr.Sleep and Ms. T give us a lot of freedom here.....freedom some boards will not allow.

You have the right to remain spamming... anything you spam can and will be used against you in the court of Buck. 
Anyways, closing threads is a good idea usually IMO. I was moderator at a UBB with over 5000 people and yes it can be a pain in the butt... people sometimes "spam"... and spam meaning post senseless posts and messages... like asdhfsoidahlifhasf and shdaifhpiwbhwhhqefhasois.
