Talking Proper Usage Can Count

I'm sure in those tortured days of highschool English classes many of us were exposed to the perils of what can happen when modifiers and the like are used incorrectly. Sadly, some people out there appear to forgotten those valuable lessons

I found the following gems while cruising the net for a work-related purpose:

"The spiders were inadvertently discovered while repairing a faulty growth chamber."

"Settling in the collected effluent, we observed what was determined to be..."

"The flavor was evaluated by an experienced taste panel, and it was deemed obnoxious."

"All samples in Lot II were discarded when the authors found that they were contaminated with alcohol, rendering them unstable.

Any more out there?

There's the classic headline that reads:

"Police Help Dog Bite Victim"

I usually ignore bad grammar, misspellings, and misused words. This is the internet.

It may just be the internet, it's still damned funny that our grammer is so brutal. Not that mine is particularly good, but I can usually avoid blunders like the examples given.

There's the classic Chruch posting "The most powerful position is on your knees"

Or

"Stress killing you? Let the Chruch help"
