| | | Prins Willem and Maxima
Yesterday our prins Willem married Máxima Zorreguieta.
I was wondering how mutch this news goes around the world, have people from America seen anything about it? Here in Holland it's all the news talk about  .
And what do you think about the father of Máxima Zorreguieta, who has done some very nasty things in in Argentinia. Or have you never heard of him before?
Any other thoughts are welcome as well off cource.

My opinion about Zorreguieta, that's her father, you cannot be held responsible for your parents actions. And just because he's a prick, doesn't mean he shouldn't be allowed to attend his daughter wedding. If only for her sake, she is the wife of the future King. She's sacrificing a lot to marry him, I think he should have been there.
And Rob-hin I think nobody cares the Argentians have more important matters to attend to and the rest of the world couldn't care less who the icon of such a smal nation marries with. Well I wouldn't care.

Well, CNN also, but what I mean is... I can see CNN. But what do in countries, do they ignore it or whatever?
I heard that the UN loved it because they don't have royalty. But I doulbt it.
And are there people here that really don't like royalty etc. or think it's nice?

| | Can't say I heard it mentioned once on the US media, but I heard it frequently mentioned on Radio Nederland, which I listen to regularly. They even a 30 minute feature on Willem's family, and how closely it's been involved with matters of historical importance in Holland. Of course, that's going to happen when you hold a throne for a very long time, too.
