edit=> it could also be a skin of WinXP (winXP can be skinned quite successfuly with Object Desktop) with the 3rd party Longhorn panel for winXP installed.

| | Your 'desktop' looks strikingly familiar to mine giles, heh, except for the torchlight.
Anyway, thanks BS for revealing the secret button of my keyboard, Print Screen! I actually had to look twice at the keyboard to realize it was there. That pretty much leaves only one key I'm still clueless about, the Pause_Break one.
Anyway, nice to have learned this, my desktop is:

It reminds me of this sketch on the David Letteman Show. It ws hilarious.
David read 'fanmail' out loud:"Dear david, what does the scroll lock button on my keyboard do?"
Flashback:
David sits at home behind his pc. He looks at his keyboard and knotices the scroll lock button. He presses it... nothing happends.
Presses it again... still nothing
He repetedly presses hit (tap tap tap tap etc)
The camera moves down to his neighbour. The man sits up strait in his chair, looks around his room wondering why the lights keep swiching on and off.
So, now you know what the scroll lock button does, it swiches the lights of your neibour on and off.
I thought it was funny.

| | Nippy, that's the most fascinating desktop I've ever seen
Wanted to post mine, but the file size was too large. How did you manage to shrink it under 2 MB?

| | | You have to use some photoediting software, like photoshop, to resize the image or lessen the quality in it. For a free alrternative to photoshop google for "gimp"
