| | Not only Kolgrim but also another silent follower of Weasel raises his old body to stand beside him in these hard days.
Ye old man has joined to support his quest.
Maybe the good win sometime, but the evil survive . . . |

| | He, he! I said up there I usually play Lawful Good characters, yet on the board's story, I'm a smart-mouthed, mage-killing CN assassin. On the good side, no less! http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Edit- @Weasel- are you sure you just didn't want to see you name at the top of the topic list again?

| | Seem to always like Lawful Good or Lawful Evil.
However, the portrayal of Evil the game has is more nuetral or chaotic evil. It is very tough to play Lawful Evil.

| | I almost always play chaotic good because that just seems to be the most natural for me. I have a hard time just wantonly killing for no real reason (except for Neeber). But I also seem to have a natural suspicion for institutions and authority which explains the chaotic side. I am currently playing a thief so I steal but only from evil creatures or institutions (I'm still not too sure about the Noble Order of the Radiant Heart).

| | I always think of Lawful Evil as evil through organization. Like organized crime. I like the honorable villan, predictable but intelligent.
I agree, though. NE seems to be played more often in the game than LE. |

| | I always played as good.
Mostly as Paladin, but sometimes as Ranger!
But next time I start playing BG2, i will be half-orc chaotic evil barbarian http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/smile.gif
I think it is a perfect killer http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/smile.gif
But for now I am the pride of the world, and I folow love and honor! |

| | In BG2 i usually play chaotic good. The thing is that I like an alignment which gives me the most freedom. When I played pen and paper D&D (among other types of games...had a brief foray into GURPS) I played a neutral evil character since I thought this would allow me to do whatever I want...but I never felt that I could exercise some of the evil options fully. Being bad when you want, where you want is difficult if your party members don't like it. |

| | As it is in real life. There are dire consequences to being evil.
BTW, kudos to Alienbob. This is the best name for a topic I've ever seen. Hands down. No offense, Weasel. I know none is taken. http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/biggrin.gif |

| | i always play chaotic neutral, anything else is just too morally restrictive. i will gladly steal anything that looks even partially enticing, kill anyone who attempts to impede my progress, and although i haven't done it yet, i'm dying to land a fireball in the HQ of the radiant heart. all that lawful good in one place just sort of chafes me. http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
ever notice how the chaotic NPC's seem to be the most fun? (minsc, jan, korgan, etc.) |
