I read 'Do Androids dream of electric sheep?', which is the basis for 'Blade Runner'. I said in my thread that I didn't like the movie, so I wanted to see where the problem lies.
It's not with the book. The book was great- better than the movie in every way imaginable.
D!ck comes off as a guy who has a certain view of things, which can be very warped, but at the same time he presents it very interestingly. Very much like Kubrick on film- he has certain views on things, things that no one else in the world would think of, which usualy translate very well on film.
I've read three other books by him so far: 'Solar Lottery', 'The devine invasion' and 'The unteleported man'.
Out of them I really liked the first two, but the last one was too wierd for my liking.
I plan on getting a few more when I go to the States next week.
