This is an honourable thing you have done here, Curdis, but let me say that I do not see you as responsible in total for what happened in that discussion, it takes two. Though I can guess how you feel when you read all of these dedications to fable, but I believe it is more to get him back rather than to side with him over what happened.
I hope you stick around too

Ysh and Ned, Thank you for your words but I can't agree (although this time I won't be dying in a ditch over it). I have read over what *I* said and I don't believe what came out of my mouth, err fingers (bear with me here, I am after all a total jerk). No issue on GB is important enough for me to talk to someone else like I did. I decided however not to focus on me and my 'issues' but what really knots my stomach which is what a truly remarkable person my erstwhile punching bag is.
I feel like the guy who is standing in the courtroom looking at his family for the last time because he decided to lash out. I could have just crawled away and tried to ignore my behaviour here but I'm going to stick around and take what's coming to me.
Nobody could kick me as hard as I am, but I invite you all to try.
As Joni Mitchell says 'don't it always go to show you don't know what you've got till it's gone'.
Honour? Maybe it is not too late to start trying. Experience suggests I am more likely to play the role of the cautionary tale.
As to the guitar again thank you for your words. I didn't post it for sympathy. It struck me more as an instance of instant karma.
Could one of you kind mods please change my title from 'exalted member' to 'Total Jerk'?

*shrugs* this is getting a little too regular, isn't it?? I mean, you have been a member of GB since the very beginning - just about - and you are always getting into trouble!!  if you are insistant on getting your title changed, you only need to carry on this inordinate display of anti social behaviour and go for the reputation instead, after all - it is cheaper than subscribing to GB and altering your title for yourself
There have been much worse on this forum...you don't even compare IMO. Sorry.
