| | | Oh no, Im going to get eaten. http://www.nbc4i.com/news/5516579/detail.html#
Oh no, this thingy was spotted about a mile from my house.
There is no way IMO that thats a house cat.
I mean, the tail drags the ground!
I almost got ate by a mountain lion in new mexico, and this thingys that close.
So, do you guys think its a cat or lion???
(Be sure to look at the past stories at the bottom of the page. |

| | | I see. My cat is able to touch the ground with it's tail when it wants to, for your information. Now to read the article.

| | Wow. That's pretty sweet considering I live in Detroit (Lansing at the moment but eh...), but blows for you chus. I thought it was a bobcat and that's still my guess regardless of what the guys said. I wouldnt worry, you can outrun it in your dragster .
... I hate cats by the way. Just wanted to throw that out there... |

| | In my opinion, a lot of these Big Cat sightings can be attributed to the general fear of the public that these things are close to them or their families. Sure, it may be a deer, but I don't want to take the chance, o I call the police.
Notice I used the word most.

... I hate cats by the way. Just wanted to throw that out there... | I ve saw bobcats before, keep in mind they have bobbed tails. (hence the name bobcat.) So I dont know about a bobcat.
There were more photos of it in the other articles (from last year)

I dont wanna die! | I doubt you have anything to worry about other than your now deep seated fear of cats due to your run in with the mountain lion.

| | I agree that you're fine chus but couldn't that tail be bobbed? I mean it is a picture from a ways away...
Or a genetically engineered one that doesn't have a bobbed tail maybe?
A super strong, super fast one?! Nevermind chus, you're as good as dead... |

| | You're not going to be eaten by a cat, chus. Not eaten whole, at least. So you don't have to worry about it being painless or anything.
And TALK about overuse of Bohemian Rhapsody... sheesh!
Should be Death on Four Legs instead of two... Ooh, that was bad... |

| | Chus, unless you plan to coat yourself in salmon oil before taking a solitary walk in the woods, you probably don't have a lot to worry about..
Or.. have I suddenly stumbled on your favourite type of 'Eau de Cologne'
Seriously, don't sweat it. Beyond taking the standard, common sense precautions there is not much you can do

| So have I. Tiger cubs are fun. It's cute when they bury their fangs into your leather covered arm.
It worries me greatly that you have tiny dogs. I remember when I dropped a box and towel over the neighbour;s chiwaawaa when I baby sat for them. It liked biting ankles. the kids thought it was funny.

On topic, mesa thinks that I should add that mountain lions sometimes venture as near as 50 miles from here.
