Night Mood (please limit spam)

I don't know anybody else like this. Are any of you night people? And not meaning, staying up at parties get drunk kind of night person.

I feel a lot more comfortable in the dark. A lot of people are scared of the dark, I've never found out why, but nighttime is sort of my "natural" time of day.
My friends have told me that I have really huge pupils, and maybe that's part of it.

It almost looks like my eyes are black, because my pupils are so expanded even in broad daylight. I've never had to get those drops at the eye doctor, so they can see to the back of your eye (or whatever it is the drops do). My eyes adjust super fast to darkness, and when I'm in the nocturnal section of the zoo, I see everything perfectly, where as my friends, or just other people, cannot.
I'm not really nocturnal myself, I have pretty regular sleeping patterns, but I'm always tired during the day, and I encounter a brisk measure of insomnia.

What about you guys?

heh, I like the night, but I have hemeralophy (sp?) which is nightblindness, which means that my nightvision really is almost non-existent

(for example, I have never seen more than 2 stars at a time)

Still I think the night is a beutiful time.. I think better during the night

I like "night" time simply because it is so quiet. At the moment my favourite time would have to be 4:30-5ish in the morning - the horizon begins to brighten with the first sign of the sun. Everything is quiet and peaceful.

It was around this time I stumbled home very inebriated a few weeks back, and found the park I live adjacent to open. It was nearly daylight (very bright) but at 5 in the morning with not a soul around. I was struck by the tranquility of it all... a very faint mist still clung to the lake, with swans gliding through it. What a glorious time to be drunk.

As you can see it is not quite the darkness I like, I like the time of day.

i LOVE the night! i dont have "night" eyes, but can see fairly well in the dark..

i like it mostly for the same reason as denethorn, but also becouse i'm very interested in the stars. i use to spend a lot of time watching them

but a problem here is that in summer, there is daylight(or at least light) 24/7

that is one of the reasons for me liking winter better than summer..

Edit: and another thing.. i HATE the warmth! at night, it is much better temperature

I love night time. For a few reasons.

1. I love the moon, for religious and personal reasons, and for the simple beauty of it.
2. It's darker, I get migraines with bright light, darker is better.
3. Night is completely different than day. The atmosphere, the mood, the sounds, just everything. I love it.
4. I've never been afraid of the dark. I feel safer in the dark than at any other time.
5. I have a wicked case of insomnia and when I do get sleep, chances are I'm sleeping during the day and up all night.

Whats wrong with drinking anyways?
