| | Yikes. My condolences. Kinda scary that they can do that, and probably put many people out of buisness.

Wow! Thats rough! I would never had thought that something like this would be regulated.... Geez...Talk about going too far with laws. Maybe shooters can be viewed as negative, but theres no need to ban all games from the country. I would be against banning any sort of game, unless it is truly inappropriote.
I wonder why Greece is doing this.
I hope no other country follows suit
I wonder if this is a joke...
I wonder why Greece is the country having this crazy law...
Above are the thoughts that raced through my head.

These statements said by such people prove to show some truly comical images!

To tell the truth i've just been informed about this from here!(excuse my ignorance but its my exams season ) Before i say anything about it i'll try to get a few more details and learn more.
On a first note, this issue is not going to come too lightly on the Greek people, a protect is planned at Thessalonica on 10th of September when the first two Internet Cafe owners are going into a trial for this.
I think i can guess from where this started, a while ago some reports from the media showed that a few internet cafes in Greece were giving some kind of accounts to customers so that they could gamble on internet casinos and other gambling means, which i don't know many details, but this law is too much i can't believe the government would think to solve this problem like that. .

Read this on another forum also first, didn't really belive it there.
Sounds like some legislators have had a bit to much ouzo to drink while laying in the sun all day thinking of stupid laws to pass.
Hope this get abolished somehow, I find it hard to justifying comparing gambling (wether it be on online-casinos or not) to computer gaming.
It is like saying because the computer can be used for activity X wich we find is wrong, we have to stop activity Y because it also is done on a computer.
That is like saying, people can have sex in cars, we find this wrong, so we ban people from driving the car.......
People are stupid, and many people are very stupid.

Does this remind anyone else of Prohibition?

| | Quote: Hmm - comparing laws against computer games to stop gambling (or something) with laws against drugs hardly seems plausible.
