| My X-men 2 review. Spoilers. Highlight to unlock spoiler. The opening, suited the film; with all of those twisty pipes and stuff. The entrance by Kurt was amazing, although I was afraid some people might pin him as evil. He is played to his best, and then some (would it get tired if I said that a few more times?) and then some . It shows some really cool, character back ground. When Pyro ignites the cigarette, or when rogue gets kissed. The pitiful cameos were one of the let downs; most of them. Hank Mcoy on a news program, Remmy LeBeu in strikers database, Banshee(CMIIR) and colossus at the mansion. All of them should have been in there, even for a small amount of time. Nightcrawler seemed only to be about the porting, no background, how’d he get to the church, plus why isn’t he furry? Towards the end it got cooler(is that possible?) When they arrived at the base, Mystique did the best martial arts/acrobatic/stuff I ever did see. Kicking four people at once is cool, but then the sliding under the door, doing splits and giving them the middle finger? Wow. I must say Lady deathstrike really did nothing, but fight and fight see did. She could have kicked wolvies ass(Don’t put you hands over you ears and sing “lalala”) It’s true, she had all of his powers plus some really dude acrobatics, to match even Mystique. Jason, who I believe is Mastermind, was also creepy, but not really qualifying for cool. What they did to charles wouldn’t have worked I’m sure. It couldn’t have, it was all to easy. Talking about old but cool mutants, Magneto, was neato in his escape. “No, too much iron in your blood” then he sucks it all out of the guard!! Jeans ending part, quite easily led on to the phoenix/phoenix. Nothing special about that.
When they gave the president the letter, it was so ominous I knew there had to be things after that….
X-men 3 is coming
