I have 3 cats, fantastic creatures, much better than dogs. They smell nicer, are more intelligent, don't require daily walks, and are independant while still being incredibly affectionate. To quote a kids film, 'Cats rule, Dogs drool'

I feel somewhat parental towards my girlfriend's black cat 'Spas Zarathustra'.

This means that it makes me feed it, and I have a joke with it too every so often by throwing it in a canal or feeding it fire retardent.
