| | | MY BIG 5-0-0 and the return of changing your rank/title
Hey, just wanted to let you guys know,as of this post, I HIT MY BIG 5-0-0 in my posts! 
when i first came to banshee, i thought that once we hit 50, we get our titles (under out name) changed to Exalted Member. I was right, but then i thought when we hit 100 we get another rank/title changed even higher. Then i thought "oh well, maybe 200 will do it" 200 came and still nothing. Then i realized that exalted is as far as it goes. Then I was informed that at some point we could change our rank, but that was a long time ago. Now I was wondering, could we get another rank for hitting 100/500/1000? Or atleast bring back the feature of letting us change our titles once we hit a certain number of posts

Actually, i really would like it to happen too, the adding of extra rankings. Or the option to make your ranking unique.
I guess it is really a technical problem, that mr Satan is able to make in short time, but I see that there is still one issue: the subcribers from the past had this right to optimize their rankings, and they used to pay for a long time to have this right.
So, if we want to remove this unique feat they have, I guess we must do four things:
1 - ask Mr Buck what he thinks
2 - ask the old subscribers what they think
3 - ask the forum members about what they think
4 - make a list of titles.
The list of titles, IMO, should be "manufactured" with all the board suggestions...
Or, after some time custom for each member.

| Sadly this would lead to spam (Or to being a Aegis or Fable god-type  NEVER a Weasel ) and this is not what SYM needs. We need Communication for the improvement of the human race.

it was the case in the BG dungeon (very old forum, but the only other forum i was an realy active member) and you noticed that people where beginning to post just to get a new title.

You could also get reset their post count entierly, which I belive this version of the forum software can
But personally - I don't like the post-count tied to new titles approch myself, because I also think it would cause some people to post more simply for the point of increasing postcount. |

| | I concur. I like the conformity of most of us having the same titles  Exalted Member just rolls off the tongue nicely. And it doesn't provide an incentive for people to excessively spam.

I don't really mind my title, especially that almost everyone is an "Exalted Member", so it's a bit like I wouldn't have a title at all.
