After watch a "Watch Mr. Wizard" marathon on the science channel i found myself missing the show(and the various other mr wizard shows)...i stayed up till 3 am watching the repeats then watched them all agin today...
are there any other Mr Wizard/Don Herbert here in sym?

Don Herbert gained great fame as Mr. Wizard, and became the most well-known science teacher in the world.
During World War II he was a pilot, and later became an actor before becoming "Mister Wizard." Watch Mr. Wizard was Don Herbert's first appearance as Mr. Wizard, and it soon caught on. Watch Mr. Wizard ran on NBC from 1951-1965, then was revived briefly in 1971.

I grew up watching world but i saw the "watch mr wizard" durring a marathon and i liked it also. ther was one thing he did that i wanted to get my hands on *grin* i cant remember the name of it but it was a yellow powder that repelled water...he would drip some water on to the powder and the water would run down and form this pefect lil ball...he also filled a big glass full of water dropped a bolt in the glass...poured the podwer in...stuck his hand in, pulled it out...and it was completly dry
