I doubt you'll receive much help on the exploit side here, GB isn't an underground SWG hacking cult.
Foremost, exploits on MMOGs are rare, highly valuable and also highly volatile. I suggest you get down to working on your character the honest way if you wish to succeed, since exploiting will almost certainly land you with a ban. Those even distantly
linked to exploits (e.g. allied to a cheating guild) are normally nailed with a blanket ban.
Secondly, exploits are crude and frustrating to other players, so if you don't like the levelling up treadmill (can't say I blame ya
) try another game. I recommend a healthy dose of old school Ultima Online.
If you're really desperate I suggest searching for macro tools, which are possibly permissable within Sony/Verant's terms of service agreement, and probably how your friend reached such a high level within such a short time. Although I find this method equally poor, but its your choice.
