This is getting extremely annoying. Ive had it almost all week. Today I woke up thinking its all gone - to my surprise it started aching right after I had breakfast. I thought it was just stress, what with exams and all, now quite frankly I dont know what to do. I need some herbal remedies.Or something to relieve the stress -- yeah Im still stressed I guess. What do you guys do to relax after such a week

Sorry to hear thar WR. I had a migrane this past weekend, I think it was from eating a cininmon role with slight traces of gasoline on my hand. I think the best thing to do is just lie down, in a quiet and secluded place and put a warm or hot towel on your'e head, and drink lots of Tea. I drank like 3-4 pitchers of tea scince this weekend and I feel mich better.

I am not troubled by migraine that much, but a friend of mine has it as a cronical illness. I once saw him in one of his most sever attacks, he was crying like a baby, and this is the kind of guy who never cry, I have only seen him cry twice and the other time we got kicked in the testicles by a girl with really huge shoes.

He started throwing up during his fits, he said it helped some, not sure if it worked though...

I hope you will fell better

See a good doctor. The migraine is a symptom, so the first thing is to determine the cause of it. A doctor should be able to decide based on your responses whether it's stress-related, vision-induced, an allergic reaction, a chemical imbalance, etc.

If it's lasted this long, yeah, see a doctor.

I was told to drink caffiene. Lots of it. It helped, but I'm addicted now. Home brewed iced tea is a good way to get caffiene. You can brew it strong and put as much sugar in it as you want, and you can have a big container of it and not worry about brewing a new cup of tea everytime you want some.

I put on some music the helps me relax, turn all the lights off and lay down until I fall asleep to get rid of mine.

If it's lasted this long...I don't know. Reduce your stress, eat healthier, see a doctor and ask them if they think anything else is causing it, or you just are really stressed and it keeps bringing them on.

Maybe you can get Fas to come take care of you for a day so you don't have as much stress and can enjoy yourself for a bit?

Thats sad, when I'm constantly in pain like that, it's sometimes helpful to have someone there. Other times, it gets so bad I don't want anyone in the same house as me.

Hmm, I used to pop excedrine like candy, about 4 pills every 3-4 hours when I got bad until they prescribed me narcotics for my migraines. That could help you...although the doctors made me stop that. It's way over the daily limit to do that. It worked though, at least dulled the pain so I wasn't miserable and unable to get out of bed.

Well its alright Im not exactly alone. My parents were home most of the day. And I got to spend some time with them. I had a nice day except for the poor aching head. Plus I give Fas a headache as it is, poor thing. I think Ive annoyed him a lot this past week, because I wasnt feeling too great. Plus I do not like staying in bed at all when I am not feeling well.

Yeah I dont like to take pills. But I guess I better take something.

Poor Fas, I've been there. This problem requires a hot fudge sundae fix I say.

I used to suffer regularly from migraines but when I began seeing a good chiropractor they mostly went away. Some people tend to be pretty hostile to chiropractic medicine though, so it depends on your view

I have also found that analgesic types of rubs can provide a lot of immediate help. I use Tiger Balm and Deep Cold which I apply to my head, neck and shoulders, sometimes right down my spine. This produces a hot/cold tingle that penetrates deeply into the area and provides a numbing/pain relieving effect.

Note! If you do try the analgesic rubs, make sure you wash your hands after application!!!

lol! Yeah, the smell isn't that great, but it I find it really helps to take the edge off of the pain.

EDIT:
Since you are open to the idea you may want to consider a chiro. Just be careful when shopping around for one... For example avoid, like the plague, the variety who claim that chiropractic medicine is a panacea for any given ailment. From what I've found, those who make a specialty of sports medicine are the best.

There's a method for using that to your advantage.
