I've just gotten pretty sick of bookstore displays advertising the latest book fostering the stereotypes so popularized in "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus." So I thought we might all celebrate by finding some far more sensible substitutes.
The Rule:
The form of the stereotype must be, "Men are from ******, Women are from *******."
Go for it.

Hm, I'm not sure what you are after here, Fable.
Men are from Ulaanbaator, and women are from Betelgeuse?

Well, that will do for a start. Actually, I figured people could come up with paired locations that made a lot more sense to them (and perhaps, just perhaps, us) than the silly Mars/Venus stereotype we keep hearing.
Now, Men are from LA, Women are from San Francisco, makes a marginally mad kind of sense, given the prevalence of cynical old men at the top of the movie industry in LA, and the number of women in the US who are slightly more open to new ideas than their male counterparts.
I guess this was actually a bad idea. Perhaps I should just scrub it and become a aquarium sitter. I hear they aren't paid well, but they get all the fish dinners they can eat.

| LOL Doesn't sound too bad - I love fish for dinner
OK, I got the idea. Now, I wish could remember the name of this little place in Northen Sweden (Lapland) where there is a village consisting of only men. For some strange reason, they fear the village will die out unless some women move there soon...
