Friends,
For the past 5 months I have walked amongst you as a Brother in Spam and they have been some of the best months of my young life (no comments ). I have cried, raged, argued and laughed with characters from all across the globe and my worldly perspective has been enhanced beyond imagine from it. I've listened to music with a drag (racing) queen from Ohio. I started a pimping ring with a giant robot and a genteel from England. I debated religion with a woman wearing a kilt. I discussed basketball and dingos with an australian. I've stalked a canadian hippy. I blew up an equestrian enthusiast and her pegasus named Bounce with booby-trapped (hehehe, booby... no, no time to laugh now) bottles of wine. All of this and more have been added to my list of "Things I've done because they seemed like a good idea at the time", and those are just the things done while sober.
Sadly, like all good things, my days of Spam are numbered.
I'm not so arrogant to think that my departure from SYM will be met with tears and certainly not the sorrow accompanied by the absence of a perpetually drunk New Yorker for a day or two, but I felt that I owed you all this much explanation as to why I probably won't be seen for... A very, very long time. There's been a recent development that will require me to make some big changes in my life including breaking up with my girlfriend of 17 months and dropping out of college. I have only one word of explanation for you dear friends:
Oblivion.
Yes, it seems I will trading in my boring days of casual drinking, basketball games, sleeping through lectures, intense drinking, partying, reading and 24/7 ESPN for, well... A land of ceaseless adventure in a fully realized fantasy setting with mind-blowing graphics, intensely realistic swordplay and fully interactive characters that actually speak instead of conferring by way of a scrolling text box. I don't plan on leaving my room for the next three months at least, living off of nothing but whatever leftover food my roommate doesn't eat and a 24 case of Miller High Life my friends and I bought for 15 bucks from this 7th year senior who decided to give up drinking and focus on studying (idiot ). My eye prescription will probably need another massive readjustment after Tamriel is saved, and probably another after I somehow manage to become Grand Master of every single competing adventurer's guild on the continent but it'll all be worth it. I hope to see some of you there too *cough*chus*cough.
All my love,
Tony

Ha, nice. Very nice indeed.
I can't wait for the game myself, cause I'll be on WAY less after that.
Giggety!

Yes yes....I am more important than you, neener neener neener. Seriously, video games are called "video crack" for a reason. Keep the girl and college man, the game will get old to you far sooner than your girl will.

Rav you say that spam is more fulfilling that wiping out hordes of Daedra with your hands and Magick skills? You say the spam is more fullfilling than annihilating an entire town with a bow and a handful of arrows? You say spam is more fulfilling than stealing other peoples property from behind their backs? YOu say spam is more fulfilling than taking a claymore and cleansing a smugglers hide out of life and valuables? Curse you! Curse you, I say, for you know nothing but your ignorant ways of spam, nothing I say! NOthing! That and I am mad, my copy of Oblivion shipped today, but there is no word on when it shall arrive. My time is limited as on friday I leave for the beautiful Pacific coast of Costa Rica, where Oblivion lives not.

Maybe you go and ask them to line up for you...."I say, old chaps, would you mind terribly if you lined up for me, thanks and you at the front, could you paint a nice big circle on yourself? That'd be great, thanks. You'll be greatly rewarded in the afterlife for this, old beans!"
