Hi Mah, still wanderlusting in Bangkok? I was hoping you could give me some info about Odie. Moving houses, you seem to lose a lot of stuff and I dont have his contact details anymore.

With my apologies to CE. Yes after a while everything tastes like chicken.

I had a similar reaction, "I'm going to where!?!? Pana-what???" It's a quaint little town of around 400 people or so. Its prime function is as a supply town. As for the region, the North/West is the Kimberley Region which (and I'm reading off a pamphlet here

) is approx 420,000 square kilometres, which amounts to 16.8 people per square kilometre. Compare that with England which has almost 400 people per square kilometre and its a very isolated area. Sometimes unforgiving and dangerous but also beautifully untouched in most parts.

An Ozzie with snake phobia? I didn't think there were any due to constant exposure |
LOL, I'd love to tell you that I also have a kangaroo in my backyard back at home but alas I don't.

80% of our serpents are poisonous, hence my paranoia but its always been a cause of concern for me since I was a child. And I spent most of my life in the country, so yes I've had enough exposure.

Of these, chicken has the most neutral taste, so anything that is not like cow, fish and pig would automatically taste more like chicken than like anything else we are familiar with
|
Wow, thats a very interesting insight. We do get kangaroo meat a lot, its quite sweet almost like pork. They have a tendency to over populate and restrict the growth of other species so now and again, rangers have to lower their numbers and we get fresh meat as a result.
