| | | Language Salad... I'm a little bit in trouble...
While living in spain, having a lot of english-speaking friends and myself is german, I'm in the advantage/disadvantage to play games in three different languages.
Now the trouble:
I've got the the german version of NVN and the english expansion.
And: It doesn't fit!!!
This happens with a lot of games...
Maybe here is somebody very very clever (of course: all u are very very clever! I only mean in this case... )
Thanx a lot!

| | This doesn't really belong in this sub forum as it has nothing to do with "about GameBanshee", so I'm moving the thread to Speak Your Mind, where I'm sure you'll be able to get more reponse.

| | Hello, and welcome.
Is your English expansion UK version or US?
I am no expert so cannot help much, but I suspect if it is US version, it would be difficult to use it on German NWN.
It maybe difficult even if it is UK version, but there's a chance there are mod/patch out there somewhere created by a fan.
Just a thought. Hope someone else here can expand the idea.
Also, check the official site. There may be someone who had same problem as you.

| | EDIT: Oops, thought I had something, but your game version is german, ofcourse, and that's where the problem is... Quote: |

If there is missing text on buttons such as on the game launcher, or the text is missing during in game dialog, your dialog.tlk file may have been corrupted. Until we can investigate the problem further, you can download a replacement dialog.tlk file that matches your game version:
- dialog.tlk for NWN English 1.66 (zip file, 3.2 MB)
- dialog.tlk for NWN German 1.66 (zip file, 7.2 MB)
(...)
Unzip the dialog.tlk file into your Neverwinter Nights install directory, replacing the old file. | Sorry...
I guess the best thing to do is fill in this form to atari? (There's an "Installations Probleme" option under "Betreff" )

So I have to buy the spanish, because iI don't want to wait for response of atari...
Doesn't matter - it's an very obsessive game...
