There has been a change. With a new pope we have a new force to be recokened with on SYM. It is a new era. One of spam and nothing but blessed spam. We have been commanded by the second in command of the Pope Spamicus Alotus descedent of Biggus ****us () to spam to high heaven. To spread the blessed spam to all corners of the earth.

For that call I, the last COMM have left my evil path and joined the KOS. It is to spread spam. Our vow of faith is never to post in a serious thread. Spam to our hearts delight and to of course bow before the great Pope himself. As a COMM I know that Weasel must be crying in his speedo because he didnt think of becoming pope or didn't get any votes

So there is the light. I have seen it. It is blessed. It is spam. From now on I am one of them. One of the KOS. Highest of their order

I am a Knight of the Old Spam, i am the Knight Superior of Long ago Spam.

I've evolved. I'm now a superior being.

After years ruling the Heathens with my inteligence and smart spam I've tired. I no longer want to teach newbies how to spam. And, i want to have my spam, only my classy spam back. Tis a retirement, but a new quest - new dragons to beat, new flamers to erase of existance, new drinks to taste.

I'm level up. I'm KSLA.

Onward brothers!

The One Muslim and the One Witch are in the KSLA!!!

Aye and we are the blessed. We have two commandments:

1. Ye shall spam.
2. Ye shall spam some more.

Onward brothers and sisters. The Pope he has blessed us. Time to spam!

3rd Commandment - thou shall squeeze the juice from flamers

Onward! There's no stop for the Knights!

I sense reinforcements will nominee soon, and our army is about to become more than enlighted - we'll be as Gods, and rise above the small spam and flaming, and we'll generate a whole generation of knights of righteousness spamming and spamming and then squeezing and then drinking tea or tequila.

ROFL This is how Cimmy treats people! He doesn't give a shoot about the new pope (I bet he doesn't even know his name ) but when it comes to an excuse to start a new spamming session he's ready to abuse his name without thinking twice! Been missing you, mate

I haven't retired until Sunday

I also don't see the difference in bumping an old tavern/spam thread to hang out in as compared to starting up a new tavern/spam thread to hang out in, but that's just my opinion. I don't think any of those threads have ever had anything you could call constructive in them anyway, and to me, I just see it as grabbing a place to talk. then again, I'm old and set in my ways.

Never accept the status quo. As soon as you do, someone will change it on you.

It has to do with bumping in general, not only because it was "spam" threads.

Bumping threads is a "bad" practice unless something important information is located in there or you wish to continue a discussion.

If simply posting to socialize and "spam", then existing "spam" threads can be used just as well as bumping 3 year olds.

yeah, kinda figured that one out. I've been here long enough to know a lot of people frown on excesive bumping. I'm not particularly fond of opening GB and seeing half the page taken up with threads from 2 or 3 years ago myself, but never did see the difference in bumping an old tavern thread which is used for general conversational purposes and starting an entirely new tavern thread to be used for the exact same purposes. Looks to me like it would be more space conserving to just recycle a single thread than to have a dozen or so that people open, use awhile, and discard. But, as I said, it's not my call anyway. And I ain;t looking to start one of those tiring "what is spam" discussions or get into the whole old days vs the new days things. They're old, pointless, and in the end fruitless discussions anyway. Just stating my opinion.

And your post would have been equally clear without the use of quotations. It give me the creeps, kinda like I'm in grade school and the teacher is trying to explain things in terms a five year old can understand. I'm too damned old to be flashing back to my school years. makes me realize the clock is ticking and all that. I don;t need anyone nudging me towards my mid-life crisis prematurley.

Take it easy, BS, you're still young enough to spam. Be content with that. What else could you ask for?

Btw, how old are you?

Whats this spam nonsense about? There's no spam here. Spam is evil and I won't have any part of it!

Behave, Magrus, behave

Take it as a natural evolution. We're recicling the old spam bit by bit. And we are the strenght. Ask the tea drinker
